Mercury is often used in dental amalgams, thermometers, batteries and metal processing and building industries. Accumulation of Mercury from the body can also be caused by high consumption of fish, shellfish and use of cosmetic products containing mercury. High levels of this may cause lung damage, kidney problems, impaired intellectual activity, eczema, oral lichen and vision impairment

    Patient preparation

  • 10 to 12 hours fasting

  • 3 days prior: Discontinue all nonessential medications and dietary supplements. If not possible, specify the list of medications and supplements the patient is taking.
